:bulletyellow: Gender: Female

:bulletyellow: Pokemon: Pichu Pichu by CreepyJellyfish

:bulletyellow: Birthday: January 9th (♑)

:bulletyellow: Height: 3'2" (96.5 cm)

:bulletyellow: Weight: 35 lbs (15.9 kg)

:bulletyellow: Nature: Quiet

:bulletyellow: Ability: Static (The opponent has a 30% chance of being induced with PARALYZE when using an attack that requires physical contact against this Pokemon.)

:bulletyellow: Hometown: Born in Alto Mare, Johto. Her family currently lives in Slateport City, Hoenn.

:bulletyellow: Personality: Quiet she may be, Vivian isn't exactly shy. She does enjoy being around other and listing to them talk, but if questioned by someone she isn't familiar with she tends to withdraw slightly. Even if one is familiar with her they'd be hard pressed to get more than a few words out of her at a time. Sarcasm isn't something she quite gets yet and usually takes things said at face value. She likes tagging along after people, even if she isn't invited to do so. Getting into things is something she's good at, and will usually leave a mess behind.

:bulletyellow: History: In the quiet city of Alto Mare, a Pikachu and Raichu couple welcomed their newborn daughter into the world. Their first and only child, the small Pichu was raised in the Water Capital in a cozy house along one of the main canals for the city. Vivian's father worked as a boat builder for one of the main companies in the city, and as such was able to provide a comfy life for his wife and daughter. Her mother worked at a small music store and helped teach those who wanted to learn new instruments. Vivian usually accompanied her mother to work while she was too young to start school and got to sit in on her mother's lessons, even able to try some of the instruments if there was time. She quickly found that her favorite was the flute, the soft sounds pleasing to her sensitive ears. Her mother was glad to help her daughter along with small lessons from time to time and as she got older helped her learn how to read music so she could play on her own.

Before long Vivian was old enough to enroll in school and her parents placed her in one of the public schools in the city. Everything seemed to be going well for the Pichu until her parents met with her teacher for a parent-teacher conference. To their surprise, they were told that their daughter was doing well but was hardly ever participating in class. All of her work was done and her grades were fine, but the girl hardly talked or participated in discussion or answered questions. When asked about it Vivian simply told them that she didn't have much to say, she preferred listening to the others. The girl might not have been very chatty, but she did have friends at her school that liked spending time with her, so her parents didn't give it much mind. She would grow out of it eventually.

A few years passed and life for Vivian and her family stayed the same. The girl was allowed to explore parts of the city close to home as long as she was with her friends and the girl spent countless hours roaming around and finding all sorts of neat things to do in the city, from hidden gardens to the library to read stories of how a Latios and Latias saved the city from a monster of darkness. That life changed when her father received a huge promotion from his company. A few of the main builders were being transferred to Slateport to work in the shipyard there and he was one of the ones selected. Within a couple months the family was settled in their new home in the heart of the city. Her mother found a job working in the contest hall and Vivian was placed in a new school. The transition to their new home was bumpy at times; Vivian still wasn't the most talkative 'mon and because of it was a bit slower to make new friends. But her parents assured her she would make plenty, and the city was still a nice place to raise a child. Even if there were a few unusual happenings occasionally. Ever now and then her father would tell her about an unusual boat that would come to the main port by where he worked. He swore it looked more like a train.

They finally got an answer when Vivian's mother's cousin and her family came for a visit from Mauville. Their daughter was quick to explain that it was the main method of transportation to the Armonia Institute over on Faraway Island, a boarding school that she had just graduated from. Even though her parents were told very strange things happened there (like the fact that their niece had somehow changed species), it sounded like a great school for their daughter. Shortly after her 10th birthday they sent in an application, hoping a better school would help their daughter along.
